Kertar Singh

Director

Mr Kertar specializes in a large spectrum of both Criminal and Civil/commercial litigation. 

After graduating with an LLB (Honours) from the United Kingdom, Mr Kertar was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995 and has since been practising for 25 years and counting. 

Prior to practising law, Mr Kertar has completed 26 years of service with the Singapore Police Force, specialising in criminal investigations and was part of the Secret societies branch where he specialised in the investigation and interrogation section. Needless to say that his experience in the police force has always complemented his passion for the criminal practice. 

Highly experienced in acting as both defence and prosecution counsel, Mr Kertar has an expertise in dealing with corruption, murder, drug-trafficking (capital and non-capital) cases. 

Mr Kertar is also a legal advisor to various Chinese Clan Association and Chinese Temples. 

Outside of work, he is an avid animal lover, having parrots and dogs as pets. He has a deep passion for cooking where he hosts dinner gatherings for friends from the Singapore police force every month to relive the happy memories and maintain the strong friendship bond.

Anil Sandhu

Director

After graduating with an LLB from Flinders University in 2008, Mr Anil was called to the Singapore bar in 2010. 

Prior to studying law, Mr Anil pursued a Bachelor in Science at the Australian National University.

Mr Anil joined the firm in 2009, highly experienced in blue-collar and white-collar criminal offences. Having represented top cases in capital matters such as drug trafficking and ​murder. Alongside Mr Anil has also acted for detainees under criminal law (temporary provisions) Act and represented servicemen facing courts-martial under the Singapore Armed Forces Act and Enlistment Act.

Apart from criminal practice, his field involves matrimonial-related and civil litigation, advisory on commercial agreement, probate and administration and lastly contracts. 

Outside of work, Mr Anil takes pride in devoting his time to his family and a handful of charitable causes which are close to his heart. Alongside, he is a very passionate Liverpool fan. 

Memberships: Law Society of Singapore, Singapore Academy of Law, Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) and The Associations of Criminal Lawyers of Singapore (ACLS)

Jessvir Kaur

Senior Associate

An expert family practitioner, Ms Jessvir conducts complex matrimonial proceedings wherein division of matrimonial assets and children issues are at the forefront. Highly experienced in motor accident claims, workmen compensation claims, medical negligence, personal injury claims, divorce matters, personal protection matters and maintenance applications. Ensuring every case is handled with care and executed with precision. 

Graduated with an LLB from the Univerisity of Tasmania in 2014. Ms Jessvir cared for her newborn and was called to the Singapore bar in 2015, as she is disciplined and determined in managing both her professional career and motherhood. Apart from work commitments, Ms Jessvir has also volunteered at local and overseas charities and non-profit organisations such as Edotas, an environmental non-profit organisation in Australia.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children alongside activities such as horseback riding.

James Sebastian

Senior Consultant

Graduated from National University of Singapore with Honours in 1982 and was admitted into the Bar in 1983.  

Mr James Sebastian has vast expertise of more than 20 years in services including conveyancing property transactions, estate matters, crime, civil and commercial claims alongside dispute resolution, negligence claims involving personal injury and other damages. 

Outside of work he has a passion for sports such as Golf and Football, also representing as the Vice-chairman of Gombak United Football Club in the S-league of Singapore.

Justin Zehnder

Associate Director

Graduated with an LLB (Honours) from London School of Economics, Mr Justin was called to the Singapore bar in 2010.

Alongside, Mr Justin has a Graduate Diploma in Singapore Law from the National University of Singapore. 

Highly experienced in Dispute Resolutions, Corporate Finance and Commercial.

Outside of work, Mr Justin enjoys participating in marathons, triathlons and playing various sports. He loves to travel to appreciated cultural differences as he has volunteered at Timor Leste to build bridges to connect rural communities. ​

Mohamed Arshad

Legal Associate

Graduated from Singapore Management University with an LLB in 2017, Mr Arshad was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019. 

Currently speacializing in Criminal work, working on cases from drug offfences, murder, rioting, remote gambling, unlicensed moneylending, violent offences, vice offences to sexual offences, traffic offences and employment offences. Prior to this he also has experience in Family law and Civil Litigation.

In 2016, Mr Arshad contributed to the Constitutional Commision to review the Elected Presidency System in Singapore. Invited to the Supreme Court to a question-answer session posed by a panel including Cheif Justice Sundaresh Menon and Justice of Appeal Tay Yong Kwang.

Other than his deep-passion in Law, he regularly plays football and is musically inclined towards playing the guitar.
